For breastfeeding, the right mindset and the will to feed are enough. You may still want:

- breast pads
Bottle feedingIf you are bottle feeding
- 2 bottles with size 1 teats
- a bottle brush
- a pack of formula (standard 1)
Kraampakket
The maternity package
Once you tell your insurer you are pregnant and your policy covers it, a kraampakket is sent to your home before week 36. If it does not, you can order one yourself or buy the items at a chemist or pharmacy.
The package contains
- maternity pads
- mattress protectors
- sterile gauze
- a bottle of 70% alcohol
- a pack of zigzag cotton wool
